The video must be public
Start by checking the video plays in Safari without being signed in to Facebook. If Facebook asks you to log in, this tool cannot read it either — it never signs in and never asks for your password.
That is a deliberate design choice, not a missing feature. A tool that wanted your Facebook password to download a video would be asking for far more than the download is worth.
Step by step
Moving it into your camera roll
Open the Files app, tap Downloads, and find the video you just saved. Long-press it, choose Share, then Save Video.
After that it appears in Photos → Recents. This extra step is a Safari behaviour, not something this tool controls — the same thing happens with any file you download in Safari.
If the download does not start
The usual cause is doing it from inside the Facebook app. Facebook's in-app browser cannot hand a file to iOS the way Safari can, so the download never begins. Copy the link, leave the app, and do it in Safari.
Frequently asked questions
Where do downloads go on iPhone?
Into the Files app, in the Downloads folder. Use Share → Save Video from there to put it in your camera roll.
Can I download a video from a private profile?
No. It needs a signed-in account to view and this tool never signs in.
Can I do this without installing anything?
Yes — no app, no profile to set up, no extension. It is one page in Safari.
