The link you need
A Reel lives at facebook.com/reel/…. When you share a Reel from the mobile app, the link it copies is the address of that Reel — and that is exactly the link this tool wants.
Reels only. The tool reads a single Reel or a single video post; a profile's Reels tab, a group and a home page are not addresses of a video.
Step by step
What you cannot download
Reels from a profile you cannot see without signing in are out of reach, and so are Reels in closed groups. The tool does not sign in, does not ask for a password and cannot use an account.
If you can watch it in a browser where you are signed out, it should work. That is the test, and it is the honest boundary of what this can do.
About higher resolution Reels
Sometimes the source publishes a higher resolution than the one on offer, but only as separate picture and sound streams rather than one finished file. In that case the page says so explicitly instead of handing you a silent video.
What you get is always a complete file — never a picture-only download with the sound missing.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an app to download a Reel?
No. It runs in a browser with no app, extension or account.
Why can't I download a Reel from a private profile?
Because it requires a signed-in account to view. This tool never signs in, so it cannot see it — the same way a signed-out browser cannot.
Does the Reel keep its sound?
Yes. Every file offered is one complete file with audio included; the audio column on each result confirms it.
